Ark survival evolved server not showing on in game queue

if your server has just started and you are new to ark the game client will show a number of random servers in the queue. to find yours follow these easy steps. Go to toparkservers.com and search for your server name in both online and offline server options, when located the server can be joined from this site (when online) and create your survivor. (this will open the steam bootstrapper to log onto server). Also you could to add the server in your steam favorites use the port XX (add +1 eg: 27015 -> 27016) connect to the server from there. Once a survivor is created, inside the game client screen you can then change the option in the lower left of the screen from 'official' to 'my survivors' and the screen will refresh and show your server here. please note this will also show any other survivors you have on any other server. Please note, if you have the above and created your survivor and it is not showing please allow a short amount of time (roughly 2-3 mins) for the server to refresh and show itself in the queue. for example restarting for an update.
