ARK: Survival Ascended Insaluna Resource Map

Explore a world above and far below with the Insaluna Mod for ARK: Survival Ascended. Insaluna is a massive custom map still in early access, stretching over 40–50% larger than The Island. While the surface offers lush forests, snow-capped mountains, and volcanic lands, the real focus is underground - where artifact caves, sprawling caverns, and mysterious dungeons hide powerful secrets. It’s a layered survival challenge with vertical progression, deadly bosses, and endless places to build. Whether you stick to the overworld or risk the depths, Insaluna offers a unique adventure for ASA survivors with its layered world of cave systems and biomes. Set up your ASA server and discover what lies beneath. Insaluna’s overworld is only part of the experience - much of its gameplay revolves around exploring what lies beneath. The map includes eight artifact caves, three massive caverns, and several specialty dungeons, offering endless challenges, hidden loot, and buildable interiors. Whether you're gathering resources or chasing rare artifacts, the underground world offers some of the most intense moments you’ll face. Boss encounters on Insaluna also scale in difficulty. You’ll find traditional boss fights with Broodmother, Megapithecus, and the Dragon at the green, blue, and red obelisks, respectively - each with multiple tiers of strength. A mysterious ocean boss also awaits at the yellow obelisk, giving players an aquatic endgame rarely seen in custom maps.

Alongside Insaluna, the Scrapped Assets Mod introduces a variety of reworked creatures and cut content brought back to life. From the Hiveopod, an insectoid monster originally scrapped from Scorched Earth, to remixed variants like the Styracosaurus and Stycmoloch, you’ll encounter a mix of familiar and forgotten species with unique behaviors and stats. Utility structures and items expand survival options. Preserve food longer with the Wolf Den, craft mid-game materials at the Alchemist Table, or hunt rare loot-dropping salmon. The anthill lets you produce refined chitin and new artifacts, while poison tripwire traps and tracer rounds add new layers to combat. Decorative items like snow globes, stools, and candelabras add charm to your base, rounding out a toolkit that deepens Insaluna’s sandbox potential. Insaluna challenges you to rethink how you survive in ARK. With a world built as much below as above, players are encouraged to dive deep, strategize their encounters, and brave the many layers of this world. While it’s still in progress, the map already delivers a rich survival journey filled with verticality, secrets, and rewards.
