The ultimate test is the triple boss arena located in the Forsaken Oasis, where players must simultaneously battle the Megapithecus, Manticore, and Dragon, requiring significant strategic preparation. Exploration presents its own hazards, particularly in The Abyss, which demands specialized diving equipment, and the Aberration trench, with its unique gameplay restrictions. Players can discover numerous landmarks, including ancient ruins like the Forgotten City and The Lost Temple, the eerie Skeleton Gorge, and a lush underground area known as the Emerald Forest. The environment is further enhanced by aesthetic features like rainbows, auroras, and shooting stars at night. Valguero offers an adventure-packed experience that excels in providing diverse gameplay. Its greatest strengths are its blend of surface, subterranean, and aquatic exploration, a unique and challenging triple boss fight, and exclusive creatures. It is best suited for players who enjoy discovering secrets in deep cave networks, engaging in difficult boss encounters, and navigating dangerous underwater environments. However, the map does have weaknesses, most notably the lack of access to Rock Drakes, which were initially planned but removed, and the absence of Lightning and Poison wyvern variants. Despite these omissions, Valguero delivers nonstop action and remains one of ARK’s most thrilling survival experiences.
