ARK Creative Mode – Introduction

While playing in an ARK: Survival Evolved server, there are many places to explore in the world. You’ll encounter dry beaches, tropical palm trees, dangerous mountains, and dark caves. Many of these places you’ll discover include rare resources and building materials you’ll need to advance in the game. Sometimes though, these resources can be difficult to get especially if they’re guarded by a boss. To avoid these situations, using ARK creative mode is the way to go!
 
Using creative mode, ARK server owners and admins are able to spawn in and build any resource. Whether you need to create a mighty Tek building or spawn in armor to take on the next dangerous boss. Entering creative mode is simple and in only a few seconds, you’ll have access to everything. In this guide, we’ll show you how to activate creative mode and use it on your own ARK server!

Getting Started with ARK Creative Mode

To use ARK Creative Mode properly, you need admin rights on your server. In this article, you will find detailed instructions on how to make yourself an admin. Once you have admin rights, you’ll be ready to start using creative mode using the steps below!

How to Activate Creative Mode

Many games, including ARK, offer a creative mode in which you can freely build without limits. In this mode, you’ll have unlimited resources, buildings, tools, and more at your disposal. Ark’s creative mode also allows you to have access to all available engrams and create them without having the required materials. To enable creative mode:

1. Firstly, ensure you are a server administrator.
2. Next, join your ARK: Survival Evolved server.
3. Once you have joined, open the game console.
4. In the console, type “cheat Gcm” to enable creative mode.


5. Afterward, go to your inventory and now all the engrams will be available for use.


6. You can now freely go into your crafting and create any item without the requirements by clicking on it!

Possibilities

With creative mode unlocked, nearly infinite possibilities await. Here are some fun ideas for what you can do in ARK with creative mode:

1. Are you having trouble with some radiation in the ARKs? Spawn yourself a Hazard Suit and maps like ARK Aberration will be less challenging with 300 protection against heat and safety from the cold and radiation.
