How to Use Admin Commands in SCUM

Running your SCUM server gets easier once you can reach for the right chat command instead of digging through menus, whether you’re checking who’s on the island or clearing out a squad of troublemakers. In this Nitrado guide, we’ll show you how to use SCUM’s admin commands, plus the full reference list.

Open chat with T, then type a command starting with #. Commands aren’t case sensitive, and any spaces inside an item or player name need an underscore instead, for example 1H_Stone_Axe.

Admin commands only work for Steam64 IDs listed in AdminUsers.ini. If you haven’t set that up yet, see our guide on how to become admin in SCUM.

    Player Management Commands

    Command Description
#ListPlayers Lists all players on the server, with their Steam IDs.
#Kick <player> Removes a player from the server.
#Ban <player or SteamID64> Bans a player from the server.
    #Unban <SteamID64> Lifts a ban on a player.
    #Mute <player> Disables a player’s chat.
    #UnMute <player> Re-enables a player’s chat.
    #Location <player> Shows a player’s exact position.
#SetFamePoints <value> <player> Sets Fame Points for one player.
#SetFamePointsToAll <value> Sets Fame Points for every player, including those offline.
#SetFamePointsToAllOnline <value> Sets Fame Points for online players only.
#SetGodMode <true/false> Toggles god mode. Requires the [SetGodMode] tag in AdminUsers.ini.
    #SetHairLength <0-1> Sets a player’s hair length.
    #SetFacialHairLength <0-1> Sets a player’s facial hair length.
    #ResetSquadInfo <SquadID> Resets a squad’s name and info.

    Teleport Commands

    Command Description
#Teleport <X> <Y> <Z> [player] Teleports to coordinates, or yourself if no player is given.
    #TeleportTo <player> Teleports you to a player.
    #TeleportToMe <player> Brings a player to you.
    #TeleportToVehicle <vehicleID> Teleports you to a vehicle.

    Spawn and World Commands

Note: SCUM calls these enemies “puppets” in-game, but the commands that list and spawn them still use “Zombie” in their names.

Look up item IDs for #SpawnItem in the SCUM item IDs list.

    Command Description
#ListItems <filter> Lists spawnable item assets, filterable by name.
    #ListZombies Lists spawnable puppet types.
#ListSquads Lists squads on the server with their IDs.
#SpawnItem <ID> <amount> Spawns items in front of you.
#SpawnZombie <ID> <amount> Spawns puppets of the given type.
    #SpawnRandomZombie Spawns a random puppet.
#SpawnAnimal <ID> <amount> Spawns animals of the given type.
    #SpawnRandomAnimal Spawns a random animal.
    #SpawnVehicle <ID> Spawns a vehicle.
    #DestroyVehicle <vehicleID> Destroys a single vehicle.
#DestroyAllVehicles please Destroys every vehicle on the server.
#SetTime <0-24> Sets the time of day.
#SetWeather <0-1> Sets the current weather.
#Announce <message> Broadcasts a message to the whole server.
#ShutdownServer Shuts the server down. Requires the [ShutdownServer] tag in AdminUsers.ini.

Note: #DestroyAllVehicles only works with “please” added, as in #DestroyAllVehicles please. Leave it out, and the game replies “You have to ask nicely!”
