    Enshrouded Server Settings & Configuration Guide

    Setting up your own Enshrouded server gives you total control over the gameplay in Embervale. Whether you want to only adjust basic options or create your own difficulty preset, you can do it all. With 36 advanced settings, you can personalize everything from the player’s health to the enemy’s attack modifier. In this Nitrado guide, we’ll show you how to access and edit your Enshrouded server settings 👏

    How to Edit Server Settings

    1. Head towards your Nitrado Web Interface and stop the server.
    2. Navigate to Settings > General on the left.

    3. Proceed to adjust the server settings.

    4. Click Save Changes at the bottom and start up the server.

    List of Settings

    Setting Name Description / Details
    Servername Choose a server name.
    Max players Set how many players (slots) the server can handle.
    Enable Text Chat Switches text chat completely off or enables it.
    Enable Voice Chat Switches voice chat completely off or enables it.
    Voice Chat Mode Switches between proximity voice chat and global, server-wide voice chat.
    Server Filter Tags Select applicable tags (e.g., Language, Gameplay Focus, Looking for Players) to categorize the server.
    Game Difficulty Preset Changes the game difficulty of the server. Selecting “Custom” allows editing additional settings.

    Advanced Configuration

    For those who want more control, you can create your own custom settings.

    1. Head towards your Nitrado Web Interface and stop the server.
    2. Navigate to Settings > General on the left.
    3. Change the Game Difficulty Preset option to Custom.

    4. Scroll down and begin tweaking the advanced settings.

    5. When you’re finished, click Save Changes and start up the server.
