Cannot Find the Server

Was the Correct Matchmaking Server Chosen?

Immediately after clicking “Join Game,” a matchmaking server is requested. It is crucial to select the same matchmaking server that the game server is using. You can verify which matchmaking server is active on the main page of the Farming Simulator Web Interface.

Is the Same Patch Installed?

The server version can be adjusted in the Nitrado Web Interface under “Settings” > “General.” The client version is displayed immediately after starting the game. To locate the server, both versions must be identical. You can find updates for Farming Simulator here.

Is the Server Running in the Farming Simulator Web Interface?

With Farming Simulator, the server process is automatically started by Nitrado. The game itself must be launched via the Farming Simulator Web Interface. It is recommended to log into the Farming Simulator Web Interface and start the server if needed.

Cannot Access the Farming Simulator Web Interface

Many options are directly implemented through the Farming Simulator Web Interface. Since it operates as stand-alone software, changes made in the Nitrado Web Interface will not take effect until the next restart.

The Password Is Incorrect

If the Web Interface password is changed without restarting the server, the new password will not be applied. Unfortunately, the password cannot be changed while the server is running. To apply the new password, restart the game server via the Farming Simulator Web Interface.

The Web Page Cannot Be Accessed

If the web page cannot be accessed, it could be because the server process hasn’t started or failed to start. Check if the server was initiated via the Nitrado Web Interface, and restart if necessary. If the problem persists, the support team is available to assist you.

My Mod Isn’t Working

Mods are often community-developed, so compatibility issues may arise. However, the following tips may help resolve these difficulties.

Cannot Start the Server with the Mod Map

Mods that add maps often depend on other mods. For example, a mod “MapMitGutenDingen.zip” may require another mod “GoodDinge.zip”. If this second mod is not installed, the server will fail to load the map correctly. Dependencies are usually listed on the official download pages of the mods.

Cannot Upload the Mod

If the allocated Modspace is full, you may encounter issues uploading mods. In such cases, you may need to upgrade your hardware performance to increase the available memory for mods. This upgrade can be performed directly on the Nitrado website.

Cannot Upload a DLC

DLCs are pre-installed by Nitrado, so there’s no need to upload them. You can activate DLCs directly via the Farming Simulator Web Interface.
