How to Connect to Your Soulmask Server

Your Soulmask server is ready, but your friends still need a way to join and a code to find it.

In this Nitrado guide, we’ll show you how to connect directly to your server. We’ll also cover how to track down the invitation code in your Nitrado Web Interface.

How to Join a Soulmask Server

Follow these steps from Soulmask’s main menu to connect straight to your server.

1. Launch Soulmask and select Online Game from the main menu.



2. Choose Private Servers from the menu on the left side of the screen.



3. Scroll to the bottom of the list and select Connect to the server directly.



4. Copy your server’s IP address and game port from the Dashboard in your Web Interface, then paste them into the matching fields. Add your server password too, if you set one.



5. Double-check the details, then select Confirm to join your server.

How to Find Your Invitation Code

Open your Web Interface, which lands on the Dashboard by default. You’ll find your invitation code listed in the Server Status section. It displays automatically once your world finishes generating, though that can take a few minutes. Reload the page if it isn’t showing yet.

If the code hasn’t appeared yet, or you’d rather look it up directly, open Tools and select File Browser. Browse to soulmask, WS, Saved, Logs.

You’ll find a single file named WS.log listed there. Select its edit icon to open it in the built-in editor.

The file opens showing that same soulmask, WS, Saved, Logs path at the top. Below it, a scrolling log lists your server’s startup activity. Press Ctrl+F and search for “SERVER UNIQUE ID” to jump straight to the line that carries your invitation code.

Friends can use this same code to find your server: from the in-game menu, filter to Private Servers, then paste the code into the search field at the top right and press Enter to jump straight to it in the list.

With your connection details in hand and an invitation code ready to share, your group can head into your Soulmask server together. Send the code to your friends, then meet up once everyone’s connected.
