These pets are very useful, as they can help you in a variety of situations, including combat, defending your base, and even carrying items for you. If you breed them in the right way, you could get pets with better health and damage stats. These pets are called Greater Pets! Obtaining Your Pet – Taming Process
In Conan Exiles, pets are domesticated creatures that players can breed to assist you in many different duties. They can help build your farm, defend against other players, or you can simply explore the exiled lands with a loyal companion at your side. To turn these pets into greater pets, you’ll need to feed them special foods to give their abilities a boost.
If you want to breed a larger pet, you’ll need to be ready and have the right place before you get it. You will need to build a pet pen for your creatures to grow in. Animal pens can hold most animals and there are four different tiers: small, regular, reinforced, and armored. Being the armored pens where animals grow faster.

When your pen is ready, you need to find a baby animal. Once you find it, get close and press the “E” key. The animal will be picked up and added to your inventory, now you can place it in its pen.
Placing the animal in its shelter is only the first step! To start the domestication for a baby pet to convert into a grown companion, you have to feed it with the right foods for a chance to grow into a greater or more powerful version of themselves.
For a better chance to grow a greater pet, the Shadespiced meals are the best option. If you don’t have it, there are some non-cooked options. Consider that, the more appropriate food you give to a baby animal, the higher the chance it is that it grows to be a greater pet.
