    How to Join Your Hytale Server


    Joining a Hytale server is quick and easy! Whether you’re connecting to your own world or jumping into a larger community, the process is the same. As long as you know the server address, you can smoothly connect to begin exploring, building, and surviving in no time. In this Nitrado guide, we’ll show you two ways to join your Hytale server 👏

    Direct Connection

    1. Launch Hytale and select Servers from the main menu.

    2. Click Direct Connect at the bottom right of your screen.

    3. Enter your Hytale server IP Address:Port in the text box, then click Connect.

    4. Type the server password when prompted, if it’s enabled.
    5. Wait for your connection to establish, then boom – you’re playing on the Hytale server!

    Adding a Server

    1. Launch Hytale and select Servers from the main menu.

    2. Click Add Server at the bottom right of your screen.

    3. Enter the server IP Address:Port and Name in their fields, then click Add Server.

    4. You will see it appear on your Favorites list, double-click on it to join.

    5. Type the server password when prompted, if it’s enabled. Wait to connect!

    Hytale Connection FAQ

    Do I have to authenticate my Hytale server?

    If you host your Hytale server with Nitrado, then you do not have to authenticate it. We do that for you, so you can instantly jump into the game! Authentication is required if you host elsewhere.

     

    Where can I find my Hytale server IP Address & Port?

    You can find your server address by logging into your Nitrado Web Interface, then viewing the Server Status. Alternatively, you can look at the top left to see it too.

     

    Why can’t I connect to my Hytale server?

    There could be a version mismatch issue happening, so restart the server to update it and ensure you have the same version installed on your launcher. Additionally, double-check that the server is online and that you’ve entered the correct server address when connecting.

     

    Why am I stuck connecting to the Hytale server?

    If you’re stuck while connecting, then the server is either still loading, setting up mods, or currently restarting. Give it a few moments and try again.
