    Hytale Private Server Setup

Whether you’re testing out features or wanting a private world, having the ability to set up a private Hytale server is important. It gives you the space needed to avoid unwanted connections. Quickly make changes to the password if needed or manage the whitelist with a few commands – you have the tools needed to control your server.

Hytale Whitelist & Password – FAQ

Why is my password not working for my Hytale server?

Double-check that you’re entering the correct password. This includes the right capitalization or special characters. Besides that, you might want to ensure no typos were made when creating the password in your Nitrado Web Interface.

Why can’t I join after whitelisting my Hytale account?

With the server online, execute the whitelist list command in the Live Server Console. This should show your Hytale account UUID, but if you’re unsure – then remove yourself and add yourself back to the whitelist. After that, try to join again. If it continues to happen, restart the server to see if that fixed the problem.

Can I manually edit the whitelist.json file on my Hytale server?

Yes, but only if you know what you’re doing. In other words, do not mindlessly edit the file since it can break it. For example, you could set the “enabled” setting to false to disable the whitelist. Just make sure to save the changes and restart the server to apply them.
