How To Upload Palworld Save Games

Palworld is an epic creature-collecting adventure that lets you explore a vast open world, build automated bases, and team up with powerful companions known as Pals. With over 200 unique Pals to catch, train, and battle alongside, there’s no shortage of excitement—especially when playing with friends. Running your own server is a great way to share your world and progress with others, and it comes with added benefits like setting a password to keep your server private or using console commands to fine-tune your experience. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to download and upload your Palworld save files so you can seamlessly continue your adventures with others!

How to Find Your Save Files

To begin with, you have to locate your save data in order to upload it to your server. We’ll show you the easiest way to find your Palworld save files.

1. Open the “Run” window by pressing the Windows + R button and type in “%appdata%”.
2. Go to the previous directory and follow this path:
   AppData/Local/Pal/Saved/SaveGames.
3. Download the world you want to play on your server.
   For example: “76561198127231826”

Upload Save Files to Server

After finding your save files, you can upload them to your server.

1. Open your Nitrado web interface and access your server FTP through the File Browser.
   
2. In your FTP, go to /palworld/Pal/Saved/SaveGames and upload the Palworld game save folder there.
   
3. Then, go back to the Saved folder and navigate to /Config/WindowsServer.
   
4. Find and edit the GameUserSetting.ini file.
1. In that file, find the line: DedicatedServerName=CURRENT_NAME.
2. Change “CURRENT_NAME” to the name of the save game folder you uploaded.

5. Press “Save changes” and then start your Palworld server.

After a few moments, you’ll be able to join your server and continue your adventure, as well as being able to invite your friends to join in on capturing them all!
