My Game Is Not Installing/Stuck – Troubleshooting Game Installation Issues

Is your Nitrado game server stuck on “installing” and not working as expected? Don’t worry 👏
 
This is an extremely common issue that can usually be resolved quickly. When installing or switching games, your server goes through several automated steps in the background. Depending on various factors, this process can take some time. In this guide, we’ll help you get this fixed – along with knowing when it’s time to reach out to support. Let’s begin!

What to Do?

After pressing the Install button from the Nitrado Web Interface, several backend processes begin preparing the game. This can take anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes, but shouldn’t take too long. However, there are a few reasons why it may take longer:

• The type of game you selected
• Your server’s geographic location
• Current demand or load on the system

⏳ Be patient. If the server is still installing after 20 minutes, move on to the next solution.

Clear the Cache

Sometimes, your browser may be showing you outdated information due to caching. This can make it look like your server is stuck when it has actually finished installing. Try the following:

• Click the Refresh button in your browser, while on the Nitrado Web Interface
• Use Ctrl + F5 (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (macOS) to clear the cache

🔁 A quick refresh may reveal that your server has already completed installation.

When to Contact Support?

In cases where the server is still stuck after 20 minutes and refreshing the browser or cache doesn’t work, then it’s time to reach out. Please create and submit a ticket to our Support Team.

Additionally, contact support if:
 

• Your server is stuck in a restart loop
• You are seeing error messages or failed installations
• Your server does not appear in the Web Interface after install

 
Use the ticket system to describe your issue. Be as detailed as possible by including:
 

• The game you’re trying to install or switch to
• The time you started the install process
• Any actions you’ve already taken (e.g., cache cleared, restarted, etc.)
