V Rising Blood Moon Event – Server Guide

V Rising Blood Moon Event – Introduction

On your V Rising server, you will be on your way to becoming the new, undisputed vampire lord. However, the path to this goal is rocky and difficult because you have to defeat many enemies and build your own castle from scratch, and for that, you need a lot of resources. You’ll find them as you roam the world, and it’s best to take a few friends with you. But what can you do if you keep failing at a V Blood boss? This is where events can help you!

The Blood Moon event is a night that can help you defeat bosses, as your stats are improved, making you much stronger. In this tutorial, you will learn how this event works and how strong of a boost your character will get!

All Details About the V Rising Blood Moon Event

A blood moon is a random event in V Rising as you play that increases player stats from 6 pm to 9 am in the darkness. Players are alerted to the presence of a Blood Moon by the clock changing color at the top right of the screen. On the day of the blood moon, the clock turns from blue to red and the effects kick in at nightfall. Unfortunately, in V Rising there is no way to predict precisely when a blood moon event will start since they always occur randomly. You can only rely on the time period mentioned above. However, what you can do if you have your own V Rising server is adjust the settings for the blood moons. We’ll talk more about that later.

Unlike similar events, the Blood Moon in V Rising only affects the player’s stats by increasing the effects of their current blood type by 20%. It also increases movement speed by 10% and damage by another 20%. However, this also means that a Blood Moon will not make you immortal or invincible.

To get the maximum benefit from a Blood Moon event, it is recommended that you take down strong V Blood bosses during this time. Here, of course, you benefit massively from the effects that the blood moon brings with it. Alternatively, you can also go out with your clan, destroy entire settlements and collect resources. Pay attention to the right blood type, especially with the V Blood bosses because it often plays a big role.

Adjust the Parameters of the Event

You know the parameters of the Blood Moon in V Rising after the last section. However, you can edit them on your own V Rising server. You can set the minimum and maximum number of times blood moons occur, as well as the strength of the blood moon buff. To do this, proceed as follows:

    1. Go to the Nitrado website and log in to your account.
    2. Then navigate to the web interface of your V Rising server.
    3. Once there, click on “General” in the left column under “Settings“.

    4. Now scroll down until you see the section “GameTimeModifiers“.
    5. Here you can adjust the various parameters:

      • Minimum Blood Moons – How often Blood Moons happen at the least.
      • Maximum Blood Moons – How often Blood Moons happen at most.
      • Blood Moon Buff – How much a Blood Moon buffs the player.
    6. Finally, click “Save changes” to save your settings.

Take Advantage of the Blood Moon Event on Your V Rising Server

Now you know everything you need to know about the Blood Moon event on your V Rising server. With your own server, you can control the event and determine how often it can occur and how strong the bonus is. Use the event with your friends, roam the world, and defeat the strongest V Blood bosses together!
