ARK Creatures Vote – 10 ARK Dinosaurs and Creatures

On your ARK server hosting, dinosaurs roam everywhere that you explore giving great advantages to those who tame them. Those advantages include everything from the power of flight, extra inventory space, a protector for your tribe, and a lot more. Thanks to another ARK creatures vote, we’ll be getting another new dinosaur by our side and you’ll be able to vote for who wins!
 
In the voting contest, there are a total of 10 new creatures that you and your friends can vote between. Between the 10 dinosaurs and creatures to vote for, there is everything from Giant Bison to Cheetahs and even the world’s oldest insect. Having already started, the ARK creatures vote will continue until February 6th. You can learn more about each ARK dinosaur and creature in the vote, how to vote, and how to play with friends on an ARK server to experience the new creature!

ARK Creatures Vote Candidates

Razana – T-Rex Crocodile

Deadly to the touch, the Razana was a prehistoric crocodile found in Madagascar. An ambush predator capable of fast speeds, it’s said the Razana’s teeth are so powerful they cripple prey in a single bite. The main abilities of Razana would consist of using its teeth to snatch up enemies and applying a speed debuff while being a fast and powerful tame.

Acinonyx – Giant Cheetah

Two to three times the size of a regular Cheetah, the Acinonyx dates back to the early Pleistocene era. The Giant Cheetah is said to have had a thick coat, more pronounced leg muscles, and unmatched speed. If in ARK, the Acinonyx would offer a speedy travel companion for players with insanely fast melee attacks but low health.

Panthera Atrox – Massive Cave Lion

Panthera Atrox or the Cave Lion would be the largest big cat in ARK standing as tall as a Direbear. In the ARK creatures vote, these creatures would be hazardous to come across in ARK as they’re pack hunters, quickly swarming any prey that comes near them. While the cave lions would not be tamable normally, it would be possible to sway their cubs away from their pride for your own tame.

Hatzegopteryx – Lord of the Skies

An aggressive flyer in the sky, the Hatzegopteryx is a territorial Apex predator in the skies. Being slightly larger than a Quetzal, they would be capable of walking and sprinting on the ground. If it would notice anyone within its skies, it will pursue them with extreme animosity. Even worse, if you are caught battling it in the sky they’re said to be able to do significantly more damage!

Rhyniognatha – The Oldest Known Insect

The oldest known insect in the world, the Rhyniognatha was said to have lived just about anywhere in the world preferring deep oceans and caves. Inside ARK, these creatures would be found alone, becoming violent and chasing players if they come near them. It’ll be difficult to escape them since they can travel by air, water, and land. While difficult to tame, it would be rewarding since the Rhyniognatha would act as a light creature and produce a resource called Rhyniognatha Resin that acts just like sap, honey, or ambergris.

Myotragus – Giant Mountain Goat

Similar to a regular mountain goat, the Myotragus is capable of scaling mountains often living within those regions. This creature is said to be around resources within these regions, and if attacked, its deadly horns can cause havoc for players. Once tamed by players, the Myotragus would be capable of carrying extensive resources for players and their friends.

Giant Bison – Ice Age Cattle

The Bison is a large Bison that thrived in North America around 200,000 years ago and weighting between 2700 – 4400 lbs. If the Giant Bison were added to ARK, it would act as a farm animal for players in PvE, acting similar to how cows are in Atlas. Ideally, these creatures would supply players with plenty of resources and food for survival.

Nothosaurus – Egg Collector and Travel Buddy

A mighty breeder’s companion, the Nothosaurus is an egg collector and travel friend that can be added to your adventures if it wins the ARK creatures vote. This dinosaur would have the capability for a chance to fertilize any egg that it picks up, even if it isn’t the same species. This could lead to difficult egg fertilization processes being shortened immensely. An efficient traveler on land and in water, the Nothosaurus would make a great friend for players.

Gorgonopsid – Deadly Bloodhound

Gorgonopsid, named after the Gorgon in Greek mythology, was a top predator that lived during the Permian period. The Bloodhound would be considered a mid-tier tame for players in ARK, having the ability to track creatures and high-level tames. It would also be able to act as a companion to your other tames, such as Fjordhawk and Dire Wolves. The Gorgonopsid would definitely make a vicious and supportive tame to have in ARK: SE!

Antarctotrechus Balli – The Bastion Beetle

We can all find a friend in this beetle, named the Antarctotrechus Balli. This bug is known to cause the sky to start to vibrate with deafening fluttering sounds. While passive, these beetles can become dangerous quickly if disturbed and will crush players with their horns. If tamed and in ARK, these creatures would be a powerful friend to players by offering 75% weight reduction as a passive!

Our Favorite ARK Creatures Vote Pick

With so many creatures to choose from, we found that it was a difficult choice to make. In the end, we feel that the Nothosaurus would make a fantastic addition to the game. Eggs are often a difficult part of ARK’s adventures, requiring a lot of steps to get those egg dinosaurs. If we had a Nothosaurus though, the chance of eggs becoming fertilized would save us so much time so we can focus on the journey ahead. Therefore, in this ARK creatures vote we’ll be voting for the adorable Nothosaurus, a friend to ARK eggs everywhere!
