ARK Scorched Earth Ascension Update – Introduction

Over the years, ARK has seen growth with new wondrous DLC releases and game updates. From a DLC that takes players to a half-corrupted spaceship to a DLC that takes players to a deadly scorched earth. That continues with a big upgrade to Scorched Earth DLC with an Ascension update!
 
The new ARK update contains many gifts including an ending to a wonderful map, new expanded narrative content, and a winter wonderful event! ARK Scorched Earth Ascension Debut

Scorched Earth was first released on September 1st, 2016, bringing with it a difficult challenge for ARK survivors new and old. Requiring the ultimate skills to survive, players can brave the desert and find fantastical new creatures that thrive in the map’s harsh conditions. This includes rather dangerous dragons!

After a long wait, with the Ascension update, players can finally ascend in the DLC. What is ascension in ARK? Ascending in ARK means beating every boss in the story of that DLC and discovering the true nature of that ARK. To do this requires a lot of time and work but, in return, players are rewarded by being able to go to even higher levels. Best of all, dedicated players of the ARK Scorched Earth DLC can finally learn the ending of the map!

What Else is in the ARK Update?

Expanded Narrative Content

An already wonderful update, ARK content will also see an upgrade with expanded narrateive content. Fantastic actors Maddy Madden from The Wheel of Time and David Tennant from Doctor Who has reprised their roles as Helena Walker and Sir Edmund Rockwell. The actors have added voices to all of the Helena and Rockwell Dossiers and Explorer Notes. As a bonus, Sir Edmund Rockwell’s fight on ARK Aberration has seen the same treatment. With this new content, will you be trying Scorched Earth or Aberration first?

ARK Winter Wonderland 7 Event

With the holidays just around the corner, the magic is in the air with this update. Sprinkling in even more cheer, ARK has begun its Winter Wonderland 7 event. Including new holiday items, chibis, skins, and gear, there is plenty of joy to be had. Not to mention the RaptorClause!
