Citadel: Forged With Fire – Additional Fixes and Party Permission Changes

Greetings fellow Wizards! Today we bring to your the update notes from the latest Citadel: Forged with Fire patch.  After the patch, party members will no longer bestow full structure and storage access to all other players in their party. Party members will now only see each other marked on their maps, see each other’s vitals on the HUD and will not be able to harm each other via friendly fire. This change was made in an attempt to create more diversity in the types of collaborative relationships players can have. Players can now collaborate without needing complete access to their chests/doors and allowing them permission to build upon or destroy their castles.

We also see some attention to the bonus damage output. Troublesome in the past, however, in this patch it should now be repaired. Here is a quick word from this week’s patch notes regarding the change to the Boost Damage Output:

Expect to see a boost in the damage output of some of your higher tier weapons after today’s update! We’ve been tracking a bug that caused “Bonus Damage” stats on weapons to not function properly. For example, a wand with 25 Damage would perform exactly the same as a wand with 25 Damage and a +5 Bonus Damage modifier. Bonus Damage will now work properly as it was originally intended.

As always, here is a full list of the changes and fixes made this patch:

Patch Notes
  • Blocked areas where players could unfairly build structures behind rocks
  • Removed building and structure access privileges from party members
  • Fixed a bug causing the Bonus Damage stat to not properly apply
  • Fixed a bug causing Blue Aura to frequently fail at being cast
  • Fixed a bug that caused texture settings to incorrectly display as being set to High when actually on Low
  • Fixed a bug preventing construction on parts Large Curved Floor pieces
  • Fixed a bug granting full structure access to any player who parties with the first person to connect to a server
  • Fixed a bug causing some tames to become stuck and unresponsive after an unexpected disconnection
Other Fixes

We’ve also fixed a few smaller bugs that have been on our list for a little while. Large Curved Floors can now have magic structures and furniture placed on them without issue, Blue Aura has been fixed to properly cast with consistency, and we’ve fixed a few bugs that would cause some tames to become completely unresponsive.
