Livonia for Everybody!

The well-known Livonia DLC for DayZ is no longer a DLC but part of the game! This means the Livonia DLC will no longer be sold separately, and if you already have the game, you’ll get it for free!

Teeming with wildlife, ruins, and hidden locations, Livonia offers 162 km² of fields, forests, and landscape to venture through. Run into this new hardcore survival experience with an entirely new environment on your DayZ server today.

New Sniper Rifle

DayZ update 1.25 has introduced a new rifle, the SV-98 Rifle, known as VS-89 in the game. It is a powerful sniper rifle similar to the Pioneer but causes more damage. This bolt-action sniper rifle has great precision, with the ability to attach scopes, making it perfect for long-range engagements. It uses 7.62×54 rounds. Will you be rushing to find this weapon for your arsenal?

Ambient Music

The centerpiece of this update is the addition of ambient music, made possible through a collaboration with Czech composer Filip Míšek. This update includes approximately 100 minutes of music that enhances the atmosphere during different times of the day and across various locations as you explore.

Sound Improvements

The DayZ audio team has revamped the sound effects for all shotguns, as well as for the grenade launcher and the crossbow. Additionally, they adjusted the audible range of the player’s actions. This is sure to bring a major upgrade to all headphone users out there!

Better Server Performance

Improvements have been made to how the game updates your character’s position between the client and the game server. This update only applies to your character and should help avoid problems such as getting stuck in doorways.

There’s also a new automated system for collecting game client and server crashes in DayZ. This will help provide a better understanding of the overall stability of the game, especially on PC.

Inventory Fixes

Issues where objects inside containers within other containers (nested cargo containers) were being moved or dropped without warning have been fixed. Players can no longer use the quick slots for items in these nested containers. This change affects items such as pots and protective cases. Additionally, when reloading firearms, the game will not recognize ammunition and magazines stored in these nested containers.
