Unless otherwise stated, these are mods that can be easily added to the game via the Steam Workshop by clicking on “Subscribe“. We’ll include a link to the mod as well. Without further delay, lets jump into the spookiest mods for your Nitrado server!
CreepyZombies delivers exactly what the name suggests – scary looking zombies into DayZ. This mod makes the damage caused to the zombies very visible. The screenshot above will give you a good idea of the exciting horrors that await. With the mod having a 5-star rating, it will surely make your server a bit scarier!
DeadShoreMutants has also taken on the task of changing the zombies in DayZ. In this mod, the zombies look “spectacular and fresh”. In addition, there are new sounds for screams and for when a character is hit. In total, there are 6 new types of zombies waiting for you, as well as new zombie “parts”. We enjoy our zombies here at Nitrado!
SilentZ is a haunting mod for DayZ, bringing Silent Hill to your game server. This mod aims to create a creepy atmosphere on your server. You can look forward to new weapons, items, and zombies!
Let’s move on to 7 Days to Die with the “Absolute Horror Mod”. This mod promises, as its name suggests, absolute horror. The description already points out that the spawn rate should not be too high. Dye stations, working ovens, bleeding caused by weapons and more await you!
Halloween Update
While this article is called “Halloween Mods for your server”, SCUM had some tricks and treats come this year in the form of an exciting update. In the update, fog surrounds the world adapting to the weather and the time of day. Another feature you’ll encounter is blood traces on your weapons when you murder your opponents in cold blood. Cool, isn’t it?
As if the world of Project Zomboid wasn’t apocalyptic enough, you can take it a step further with the Trash and Corpses mod. Trash and Corpses will make sure that you find trash and dead bodies littered throughout the entire world. This is sure to provide a chilling moment or two on your server!
Do you hate or have a fear of rain? The Fear the Rain mod has made it its mission to change the behavior of zombies. With this mod, zombies will avoid rain at all cost, causing them to search for houses to shelter in. When it starts to rain, avoid houses at all cost or you’ll be in for some zombie terrors!
This mod for Project Zomboid delivers what the name promises. You can look forward to fast zombies, or rather, you’ll need to look for them and run at all costs. They’ll start sprinting when it rains or when night falls, so beware when you’re surviving with your friends on your own server.
Trick or treat… the zombies are ready to eat! The horror and mayhem is here whether you’re dodging night sprinters on Project Zomboid, experiencing Absolute Horror on 7 Days to Die, or becoming beyond scared in the newest SCUM update. Test yourself through the mods and let us know which of your friends was the most scared! Together with your friends, you can take back the night and survive another day when you experience the Halloween fun on your own Nitrado server!
