ARK Nitrado Expert Setting – Introduction

The ARK Expert Setting feature on your server enables an “Expert Settings” area where you can directly edit options in the GameUserSettings.ini and Game.ini files. How to Activate the ARK Nitrado Expert Setting
- Navigate to your ARK: SE server webinterface and stop your server
- On the left-hand side, locate “Settings” and select “General”.
- There you will find the option “Expert Mode”. Check the box and activate “Expert Mode”.
- Save changes and after, an “Expert Settings” option will now show to the left under the “Settings” section.
- Lastly, start your server to finish activating the ARK Nitrado expert setting option and you will now be ready to start editing your server files.
Adjusting Settings in Expert Mode
- Once again, stop your ARK game server.
- Click “Expert Setting” on the left-hand side in the “General” section. Afterward, select the file you want to edit in the dropdown menu and then press “Load file”.
- You can now begin making adjustments to that file.
- After changes have been made, press “Save changes” and start your server.
