How to Upload a Local Soulmask Save to Your Nitrado Server

Importing a local Soulmask save to your server is essential for several reasons. First, it enhances security and control over your progress by minimizing the risk of data loss through transfer to your personal server. Additionally, having your own server allows for greater customization and optimization of the game environment. You can tailor the server configuration to your preferences, enhancing the gaming experience and aligning it with your specific tastes.

Connect to Your FTP

1. Navigate to your web interface and scroll to the bottom of your dashboard to find your FTP credentials.
   
2. Copy the credentials using the small icon and paste them into FileZilla.
   
3. Hit “Quickconnect” to connect to your server’s FTP.

Locating and Replacing the Save File

1. From FileZilla, on the right side (remote site), navigate to the following path: /soulmask/WS/Saved/Worlds/Dedicated
2. Within the “Dedicated” folder, open the “Level01_Main” directory, where you will find the world.db file.
   

Find the Local Save Folder

1. In order to find the local save folder of your SoulMask local game, press Windows key + R and enter %localAppData% to open the local app data folder.
   
2. Navigate through this path: WS > [Folder with your Steam ID] > [Numeric Folder] > AutoGames
3. Locate the world.db file and the two .JSON files. These files are necessary for restoring your progress on the server.
   

Upload the Save Files

1. From FileZilla, locate the local save from the local site.
2. Drag and drop your local world.db file and the two .JSON files into the “Level01_Main” directory.
   
3. This will overwrite the existing world.db file!

By following these steps, you will be able to efficiently connect to your FTP and transfer your local save files, ensuring that your progress is preserved and integrated into your Nitrado server.
