How to Upload Your Own Enshrouded Save

Take control of your Enshrouded server by uploading your own save! This ensures you won’t lose progress, keeps your world exactly as you left it, and prevents you from starting over after a reinstallation or server change. By doing this, you’ll restore your base, constructions, and all character progress, ensuring a seamless gaming experience.

Where to Start?

The first step is to ensure your Enshrouded server is actively running on your Nitrado Web Interface.

After that:

1. Load the world in single-player mode and stay there for 1-2 minutes. Then, completely close the game.
2. Stop your server to ensure that all changes take effect.

Locating Your Save Files

1. Open File Explorer and navigate to the following path:
   C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\1714629070\1203620\remote(Note: The ID “1714629070” is different for each user.)
2. Sort the list by last modified date and copy all files from the most recent modification into a separate folder.
3. Do not include character files in this copy.

Renaming Your Save Files

To ensure the server reads the save correctly, you must rename all files:

1. Rename each file to 3ad85aea-X, where “X” is a number from 1 to 9.Example: 3ad85aea, 3ad85aea-1, 3ad85aea-2 … up to 3ad85aea-9.
2. Apply the same renaming pattern to 3ad85aea_info files.

⚠️ Important: The base name must be 3ad85aea, or the server will not recognize the save.

Uploading to Your Server

1. In the Nitrado Web Interface, go to the savegame folder and delete everything inside.
2. Upload your renamed save files into the savegame folder using the file browser.
3. Start your server – and that’s it! Your world is now restored.
