Per cosa viene utilizzato?

L’FTP viene utilizzato per accedere direttamente ai file del tuo server. Ciò si rivela utile in molti casi. Destinato ad essere utilizzato dagli utenti un po’ più avanzati, con questa funzionalità potrai modificare le impostazioni, creare backup locali ed aggiungere mod manualmente al tuo server. Questa funzione infatti viene davvero utile per i giochi come Minecraft e Arma .

Come collegarti al tuo Server Server via FTP

• Durante una connessione in FTP, accederai direttamente ai file del tuo server. Tendenzialmente, ciò avviene utilizzando un software di terze parti, come FileZilla o WinSCP . In questa guida sceglieremo FileZilla per la semplicità nel suo utilizzo. Puoi scaricare l’installer di Filezilla: Qui
• Una volta installata la versione client del software, avrai bisogno delle credenziali di accesso FTP del tuo server per stabilire una connessione.
• Puoi trovare le credenziali FTP accedendo all’Interfaccia Web del tuo server, scorrendo in fondo alla pagina dedicata alla Dashboard del tuo servizio.

How to use Filezilla

The left column shows the local files and directories, i.e. the files and directories on the computer where you use FileZilla.

The right column shows the files and directories on the server to which you are connected.

Both columns have a directory tree at the top and a detailed listing of the contents of the currently selected directory at the bottom.
