    How To Generate a New World on Your Minecraft Server

    Generating a new world on your Minecraft server.

    1. Go to your server Web Interface.

    2. Stop your server.

    3. On the left side of the page, look for the File Browser button, under TOOLS , and click on it.

    4. Open your Minecraft server folder, there you will find a folder named ” world “, rename this world folder to whatever you would like, for example: “world1”. In this way, you will keep a backup of that world on your server files.

    You could either just delete this world folder if you don’t want to keep a backup of it.

    5. Start your server, and now a new world will be generated.

     

    As a final note, if you want to experiment with other worlds/seeds, you can keep your current world saved and just change the world name and seed for a different one using the server.properties file under Config Files.
