Your tasks

• You will actively shape the Business Intelligence & Analytics unit at Nitrado, contribute with your ideas and work with a high degree of personal responsibility on a future-proof Data Intelligence infrastructure.
• You will work on identifying and connecting previously isolated data in order to create new analysis possibilities as an important decision-making base.
• Together with the team, you will develop key performance indicators and new measurement methods.
• You are responsible for connecting new data sources with modern ETL/ELT tools and coordination with stakeholders.
• You collect and process structured, semi-structured and unstructured data, define and implement the data structure and prepare the data for your business partners.
• You will work with the team to build a data oriented mindset in the organization, ensure data is handled responsibly and sustainably by supporting the creation of a data catalog, designing and ensuring future-proof data governance standards and establishing comprehensive master data and data quality management.

Your profile

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or equivalent.
• You have several years of relevant experience and knowledge in the areas of data engineering and/or data science.
• You have experience in the design, development and implementation of ETL/ELT processes.
• You have knowledge of relational database systems, Big Data technologies (e.g. Apache Spark) and storage technologies such as Parquet and Delta Lake.
• SQL, Python and Jupyter Notebook are your daily business.
• You have hands-on experience in cloud architecture (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Databricks).
• You have already implemented and used self-service BI and analysis tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
• You have a very good analytical understanding, a strong customer focus and service mentality.
• You have excellent communication (verbal and written) skills in English and preferably also in German as well as ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
