ECO: Global Survival - 7.3.3 Patch Notes and 7.4 Details

Greetings fellow ECO fans! Last week, we received an update to ECO that provided a small number of fixes. These fixes look mainly to smaller bugs and details that needed attention. Reporting bugs is a needed and helpful step from the community. If you would like to Help out with bug reporting in eco, here is how:

The coming update, Version 7.4, will be entering staging testing soon. This update will provide some new vehicles and tools. You can expect to see things such as the plough, skid steer, and truck available. The performance will increase from here on out, but if you want an early look switch over to the bleeding_edge branch inside of steam.

Changes and Fixes from last weeks update:

V- 7.3.3:

  • Plants overlapping with constructed blocks now get destroyed during initialization.
  • Fixed lasers lagging servers that have lots of world objects.
  • Icons/rewards now assigned correctly on the first login
  • Skip windows firewall setup for other operating systems
  • Fixed valid laws getting incorrectly removed on server startup.
  • Fixed the soil sampler incorrectly displaying yield
  • Fixed fertilizers all having the same nutrients
  • Fixed some instances of invisible plants caused by migration
  • Disabled shader warmup in opengl (fixes initial freeze on linux/mac)
  • Fixed some startup crashes related to districts
  • You can now remove districts that are referenced only by failed/repealed laws
