Rising Storm 2: Vietnam - Tactical Shooter gets a Round Two

With the release of Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, Studio Tripwire is back with a new tactical shooter to rival the best of them.

If any of you are familiar with Red Orchestra and the original Rising Storm, this is probably a moment you've all been waiting for! Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is here as of May 30, 2017. This tactical shooter based on the Unreal 3 engine is intended to contrast Call of Duty and Battlefield. Rambo doesn't operate in this game, where teamplay and strategy win games. Catch a single bullet and you can find yourself staring at a respawn timer.

Atmospheric World with Vibrant Colors

As the title of the game suggests, we are fighting in the Vietnam War. We are greeted with the beautiful jungles of Vietnam, filled with exotic plants and trees. This scenery is instantly disturbed by bombs and bullets, a landscape littered with destruction and death, the perfect representation of how devastating this war was. Studio Tripwire wanted you to feel immersed in the environment and focused strongly on the colors.

Gameplay - America vs Vietnam

If you are looking for quick games packed with kills, kill streaks, and rewards, you should keep searching because RS2 will not provide it. This is for the cool and collected strategist that enjoys a good first-person shooter. As the contrast between this games and others in the genre, we have a sharp contrast with our two factions: America and the Vietcong. As is customary, the Americans have everything technology could provide at the time, with the Vietcong using guerilla tactics and Russian weaponry to defend their jungles.

While the Americans have superiority in weaponry, the Vietcong have access to tunnels and a better understanding of the landscapes. It is their country after all... This combined with a significant numbers advantage levels the playing field for the two factions, creating a series of battles you will not soon forget.

Multiplayer Game Servers

A shooter of this level is centered around on thing: multiplayer. It goes without saying that Rising Storm 2: Vietnam will run on dedicated servers. It should also go without saying that Nitrado will be offering Rising Storm 2: Vietnam servers! You'll get full control of your server, which will most likely be a 64-man server. You have the choice of game modes and players as well as some of the other aspects of the server.
