Partner Spotlight – Q&A

1. Everyone on the internet has a story of where their name came to be. What's the story behind ObiBertKenobi?

  • I love Star Wars and wanted ObiWanKenobi when I was making my first Xbox live account. But it was already taken, so I chose my real name Bert and became ObiBertKenobi.

2. Nitrado is partnered with hundreds of Content Creators, Modders, and Developers. How are you finding your partnership with Nitrado?

  • I love my partnership with Nitrado. The servers we use have been incredible for me and my community. With so many hours playing on ARK and 7 Days to Die problem-free. Such a breeze to change settings or even change the games on the servers.

3. Everyone has a favorite game or a game they'll always come back to play. What's that game for you?

  • My all-time favourite game is Skyrim. I could happily play that game for the rest of my life and never get bored. It is such a fun game.

4. Inspiration is key in any venture. What inspires you with content creation?

  • I absolutely love gaming, always have, and always will. This joy for gaming inspires me to create content for others. I want to show them not only my love and joy for games. But also how fantastic some of the games are that they may have never played if they had not seen me play them first.

5. In today's competitive environment for content creators, switching to new games is needed to stay ahead of the curve, which means you often don't get to finish games. What was the last one you felt you'd completed?

  • The last game I felt I had completed was Biomutant, but I had to grind the hours into it in a small number of days to be ready for other games and updates. I tend to split my time with games I enjoy the most, so if it is a new release that I need to showcase for my community, but I don't enjoy it, I will give it a smaller chunk of time for a few days and then move on. If I like it, I will grind it out for a week or two and complete every aspect of the game. With the number of games and DLC content coming out so fast, it can be difficult for me to stay on one game for too long.

Enjoy your favorite games! Best played on your very own Game Server!
