Network Engineer (m/f/x)

We are looking for a Network Engineer full-time to support our international development team.

Nitrado is a leading global game server and application hosting provider with extensive expertise with DDoS protected and low latency game server hosting for all platforms. We are providing the infrastructure and expertise that turns great games into amazing multiplayer experiences. With almost 20 years of professional game server hosting experience, we are the first choice for game developers all across the industry.

Since several years, we operate AS199610 with 8 locations worldwide and extending it year by year. Our rapid company growth forces us to constantly improve our infrastructure with new and modern technologies (e.g. investing heavily in new network hardware) and find new ways to mitigate complex DDoS attack patterns (e.g. building a global Nitrado backbone). To achieve sustainable growth, we are looking for an experienced network engineer to support our network and infrastructure team.

About us

A powerful, young team with colleagues who share your enthusiasm. We value constructive feedback, communication and an excellent team culture. Your opinion counts!

Modern infrastructure and tooling

Consistent configuration management and automation - for example with Ansible and Kubernetes - are a given of course. But this does not mean that we jump on every hype train: Our focus is on solid system design and security.

Challenging tasks

We are a company that sees infrastructure as a core competence and not just a cost factor. Another aspect is the B2B side where we work closely together with many big names in the industry.

Exciting "greenfield" projects which need your creativity.

We use our own SDN software to meet our customers' performance requirements. We even count CPU cycles and L3 cache misses!
