ARK: Survival Ascended features many unique dinosaurs you can meet that spawn into your world, often in the hundreds. Sometimes, you’ll have to make the tough decision to remove all wild dinos. Clearing the wild dinos from your server can have many benefits, including reducing any lag from dino-overpopulation and allowing new dinosaurs to spawn in their place. There are two methods to remove all wild dinos from your ARK: Survival Ascended server. In this guide, we will cover how you can automatically wipe dinos on your ARK server!

Wipe All Wild Creatures

The first way to wipe is an option that can be activated from your server’s web interface. Although this method removes wild dinos, it doesn’t do so permanently. Instead, it triggers a respawn of all wild creatures. So, if the dinos are removed, they will reappear after being wiped or tamed. Once the function is performed on your server, the option will be disabled, and if you want it to be executed again, you’ll need to activate it manually in your web interface. Here’s how to activate it:

1. Access your server’s web interface from “My Services“.
   
2. Stop your server by pressing the option at the top of your panel.
   
3. Go to the Settings section on the left, then to General.
   
4. Look for the Gameplay section; at the bottom there should be an option that says “Wipe all wild creatures” and check this option.
   
5. Finally, save the changes and restart the server.
   

The changes will be reflected in your game when your server’s daily restart occurs.

Admin Command

The other option to remove all creatures from your server is to use the admin command: “cheat destroywilddinos”. Unfortunately, this command cannot be automated within your ASA server at Nitrado, so you’ll have to use it manually. This command allows you to remove or destroy all wild creatures from your server. Here are the steps to use the admin command:

1. First, open your console. If you don’t know how, you can check our guide.
   
2. Then, paste the command and press Enter.
   
3. All wild creatures should now be gone.

It’s important to know that after a few minutes, they will start to reappear gradually across the map.
