CrossARK has long been a method of combining multiple ARK servers together to create your own network. This allows you to easily transfer between servers, access your tames and items, and continue the adventure with a boost. With both features now having been implemented into the game, players will be able to easily cross between servers, playing with their friends while exploring different worlds. You too can join in on the fun! Below, we’ll explain how you can use ARK: Survival Ascended CrossARK and transfers on your server!

How to Use ARK: Survival Ascended CrossARK & Transfers

CrossARK is a feature directly supported by your server. On the web interface to the left, you’ll see the CrossARK option. By linking your cluster IDs together, players will be able to go from one server on your network to another easily. There is no limit to how many servers you can link together, so you can build the smallest network or the largest community for your players!

Server transfers are more of an in-game feature, allowing players to visit one of the towers on their map within a different server to transfer characters and tame data. You’ll simply need to jump onto one of your new servers or a server in your cluster, head to a tower, and utilize its menu to begin the transfers.

Possibilities of ASA CrossARK & Transfers

As mentioned, CrossARK and server transfers are great for many different reasons. To showcase this, we’ll provide a few example cases of how CrossARK can be used on your ASA game server!

• Multiple map support – Since you can link multiple servers together, this means that you can have a different map on each server. Whether this is a DLC map or a map mod you’ve installed.

 

• Different mods per server – With multiple servers and different maps, this also means you can install different mods to each server. This creates an entirely custom experience for every server in your network that your players play on.

 

• Unique settings per server – Coming full circle with customization, each server can also support a completely different set of settings. This includes changing XP rates, egg-hatching speeds, and more.
