Adding a New World to Your Hytale Server

Whether you’re creating a new survival world or building a hub for minigames, knowing how to add new worlds to your Hytale server is essential for any server owner. Fortunately, there are two ways to quickly do this, in-game and using our web interface. Creating new worlds allows you to expand your server into a universe of possibilities. In this Nitrado guide, we’ll show you how to add a new world to your Hytale server 👏
 

Nitrado World Generation

We offer a quick method to create and edit worlds for your Hytale server, accessible directly in your web interface. Follow the steps below to create a new world:

1. Head towards your Nitrado Web Interface for the Hytale server.
2. Navigate to Settings > World Settings on the left from your Dashboard.
   
3. Click Create at the top, then edit the fields accordingly.
   
4. When you’re finished, click Save at the bottom.
5. If successful, you will see the new world appear in your list with more options to edit.

In-game World Generation

Alternatively, you can use in-game commands while being OP (admin) in your Hytale server.

1. Join your Hytale server and open the chat.
2. Type the /world add [name] command and press Enter.
   
3. If successful, you will see a confirmation message.

 
You can also use /world add [name] –gen=[generator] that adds a generator type to the world.
 
World Generators:

• Hytale – The default procedural world generator.
• Flat – Generates a flat world with defined layers.
• Void – Generates empty chunks with no blocks.

 
An example would be –gen=void at the end of your world generation command.
