ARK: Survival Evolved Server is Lagging
With “lagging” you mean the delay of the connection. This term is particularly common among players of online games. The player receives his data packets with a slight delay and is therefore at a disadvantage compared to players with a much lower delay.
Cause:
The cause of lag in ARK: Survival Evolved can occur in several places. Starting with your own PC, over the internet connection to the server up to a high load of the host system. In order to be able to limit the difficulty here more exactly, the following points help:
- Have modifications been added or changed recently?
- Have multipliers been changed recently?
- Were other settings / changes made?
Solution
If a change has been made as mentioned above, it usually already helps to revert it.
As long as no changes have been made, there could be a temporary problem with the host system or the save-game. Please contact the support for further information.
Tip
You will find a performance icon for the settings who can affect the server performance.
In that case we recommend that you do not set this settings too high or even enable/disable it.
