Avorion Admin Commands – Introduction
In Avorion server hosting, you and your fellow server players will fly through different beautiful nebulas and dangerous asteroid fields in search of treasures and epic exploration. While playing, at times it may be different to earn credits, get a certain item, or you may even be experiencing a problem player that needs to be banned. When that happens, it’s important to solve that situation and one of the best ways to help is with Avorion admin commands.
Admin commands in Avorion offer a plethora of advantages and useful options, especially when playing on a server. If you become an Avorion server administrator, these commands become available instantly with player management and cheat options. In this guide, we will show you how to become an Avorion admin, the different Avorion admin commands, and how you can use them on your own server!
How to Become an Avorion Admin on Your Server
- Head to your Avorion server webinterface and stop your server.
- Next, on the left navigation under “Tools”, click “File Browser”.
- Within the file browser, enter the folders /avorion/galaxies/(galaxy-name)/.
- There, edit the admin.xml file to add Avorion server admins.
- Inside that file, scroll until you see
<administrators/>. - Now, you can edit that line and add additional code like this:
<administrators>
<admin name="marbis GmbH" id="76561198078893061"/>
<admin name="another-player-name" id="STEAM64ID"/>
</administrators>
You can copy and paste the above example into your file, replacing<administrators/>. - Afterward, for admin name you will need to put the player’s username.
- Then, for id you’ll need to set the player’s Steam64ID, which can be found on SteamID.io.
- Lastly, after adding every player press “Save changes” and start your server.
You will have now successfully given those users admin access to your Avorion game server!
Using Avorion Admin Commands
- Firstly, join the Avorion server as an admin.
- After, press the “Enter”-key to open the in-game chat.
- Lastly, type the command and press the “Enter”-key to send it.
