  • You can buy the boxed version of Arma 3 at the Bohemia Store. If you buy the game from the Bohemia Store, you will also receive the following digital extras:

• 2.- How do I receive the digital extras that come with my Digital Deluxe Edition?
  • Digital extras, such as the soundtrack, maps and tactical guide, will be downloaded to the Steam installation directory for Arma 3, in the Bonus subfolder.

• 6.- I’m new to Arma 3. What should I expect?
  • Arma 3 is a combined arms military game set in a huge military sandbox. The game features the islands of Altis (270 km²), Stratis (20 km²) and Malden (62 km²), a single player campaign, exhibition missions, shooting exercise challenges, multiplayer scenarios, more than 20 vehicles and 40 weapons , a powerful stage editor with Steam Workshop integration and support for modding. The key features are also listed here. If you are new to Arma 3, the best place to start is Arma 3 Bootcamp (available under “Learn” in the game’s main menu). We also recommend that you check out the official Community Guide video series, which covers some of the basics of Arma 3.

• 7.- How do I know if Arma 3 received a game update?
  • We will deliver great updates on our social channels [Facebook, Twitter], through Steam announcements, and on dev.arma3.com. All updates will be downloaded and installed automatically through Steam.

• 8.- Where can I report bugs or errors in the game?
  • We have set up a dedicated comment tracker where you can report game bugs and errors. Our forums are designed to reach other players. Also, be sure to keep track of our Dev Hub page for the latest development information.
• 9.- What is Dev-Branch from Arma 3?
  • If you follow the Arma 3 Dev Hub, you will see that some posts are directed at “Dev-Branch” users. What is Dev-Branch from Arma 3?
  • Development Build is an experimental and largely untested version that contains data directly from individual team members as they work. Sometimes a part of this version can be completely broken. It is recommended not to use this branch unless you want to participate in the tests or are interested in it. Also, in case you are using a limited bandwidth internet connection, keep in mind that this branch can be frequently updated by hundreds of megabytes. We thank those who do this and helped us spot bugs before big releases.
  • If you are interested in our Dev-Branch build, you can choose to participate through the Steam client. Right click on Arma 3> Properties> BETAS tab> select Dev Build from the drop down menu (no passcode needed)> and let the game update.
  • It is preferable to report issues through our Feedback Tracking. The main branch updates are the culmination of ‘Dev-Branch’ releases, community testing, and internal QA. It is the recommended version for most players.
