Connect to an ECO Game Server

ECO – Global Survival is a vibrant game where you must build an advanced civilization from scratch while maintaining the planet’s balance. To achieve this, you’ll need help from your friends and a server that could hold all of you. If you have questions about connecting to your server, the following steps will help you and your friends join your ECO – Global Survival server and enjoy the online experience together.

Connect your server to your “Play ECO” account

Since the latest ECO release (Update 11) all game servers must be linked to a play ECO account, without it, the server can not be started. This can be done at play.eco, to start the server you will need to enter your credentials or the server will not start, a short guide to complete this is below.

    1. Go to play.eco
    2. Log in or create an account.
    3. Now log in to your account with your credentials and a page like the one below should appear.
    4. Once you have the information of your account, enter the web interface of your ECO server at Nitrado.
    5. On the left side click on “General”.
    6. Under “Base Settings” you are going to see some new fields to input the data of your Play.ECO account.
    7. Type in the information from your play.eco account.
    8. Save settings and restart your server.

    Connect Directly to a Server

The first thing you’ll need to connect directly to a server is the server’s IP address. To obtain your server’s IP, follow these simple steps:

    • Open the web interface of your ECO – Global Survival server.
    • In the top left corner, you’ll find your server’s IP address.

Now that you have the IP, you just need to access it through your ECO – Global Survival game. To do this, follow these steps:

      • Open your ECO game. In the main menu, click on “Your worlds.”

    Connect to a Public Server

Public servers are designed for anyone to join. In this case, you won’t be able to get the direct IP, so you’ll need to search for them by name using the following method:

      • Once you’ve opened the game, click on “New Game.”
