How to Create Your First Weapons in DUCKSIDE

In DUCKSIDE, survival depends on your ability to adapt to the environment and defend yourself from threats. When starting out on this chaotic island, having the right tools can make the difference between conquering the pond or becoming easy prey. In this guide, we’ll explain how to craft your first weapons so you can start defending your territory effectively.

Steps to Craft Weapons:

1. Press the ‘Tab’ key to open your inventory.
2. Once in your inventory, go to the ‘Crafting’ tab at the top of the HUD. Here, you’ll see a list of different items you can craft, divided into categories.

First Weapons

Now that you have a melee weapon, it’s time to craft a ranged weapon. The first options you’ll find will be the Bow and the Crossbow. The bow is easier to craft than the crossbow, which requires more components and a crafting table.

Bow: The bow only requires wood and rope, making it easy to attack enemies from a distance. To craft arrows, you will need wood and stone, both of which are easy to find in the world.

Crossbow: This weapon is more accurate and deals more damage than the bow. However, you need a workbench and metal for its creation, so you’ll have to work harder to obtain it.
