How to Crossplay on 7 Days to Die

With the release of the V2.0 “Storm’s Brewing” update, crossplay is finally available in 7 Days to Die! Players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S can now join forces and survive together on the same 7 Days to Die server. However, there are a few specific settings that must be configured so everything works correctly. With this in mind, we’ve created this Nitrado guide to show you how to enable crossplay and set up your server properly.

How to Enable Crossplay on Your Server

To activate crossplay, follow these steps:

    1. Stop your server from the Nitrado web interface.
    2. Go to the General Settings section.
    3. Scroll down until you find the Crossplay section.
    4. Toggle the Allow Crossplay button to ON.
    5. Save the settings and start your server again.

Once crossplay is enabled, the following settings are required or within the supported range:

    • Player Slots: Up to 8
    • Mods: Disabled
    • Easy Anti-Cheat: Enabled
    • EOS Sanctions: False

These restrictions are required to make your server discoverable and joinable by console players. If you’re running a PC-only server, you can disable or adjust these settings. In order to avoid the “Non-Standard game settings detected in this game” error, your server must stay within the accepted value ranges below. Using unsupported settings will completely block crossplay access.
