    Locating the Telnet Port Number

    Telnet uses a unique “Telnet port” number to log into your server, alongside a “Telnet password”. You can find these by:

      • First, access your web interface and stop your server.
      • Next, in the menu on the left, click on ‘General’ under the ‘Settings’ section.
      • Then, locate the ‘Enable Telnet’ option and make sure it is checked.

      • Click ‘Save changes’ and return to your server panel.
      • Next, on the left side under ‘Tools,’ select ‘Filebrowser.’
      • Within your server files, open the ’empyrion’ folder and click on ‘dedicated.yaml.’
      • This file will display the port and password required to connect using Telnet.”

      • Firstly, open the command prompt on your computer.
      • Next, type in “telnet” and hit enter. The command prompt will change to this:
