Death Penalty on Your Server – Introduction

Palworld presents a world full of regions to explore and creatures to face alongside your loyal companions. As you progress in your adventure, you might find yourself in danger and even lose your life. Now is where you might ask yourself, how does dying affect you in the world of Palworld? Below, we will see the penalties that can result from your death in the game, as well as how to configure them on your server.

    Death Penalty

Upon losing your life in a Palworld server, you might encounter one of the four types of penalties. Each of the following penalties can be configured on your Palworld server, providing you with multiple ways to play the game. These range from not losing anything to losing all your items and pals. We will talk about each of the options available on your server.

    • No drops: You die and respawn with all your items, losing none.
    • Drop all items except equipment: If you set this penalty, you will lose all items in your inventory, but you will keep the equipment you have on.
    • Drop all items: In this option, you lose absolutely all the items you are carrying.
    • Drop all items and Pals on the team: This is the most risky option since if you die, you will lose everything you are carrying, including your team of Pals.

As you can see, each of these options progressively increases the punishment and the inconveniences that these losses can generate. Now that you know what each level of death penalty does, you can choose the one that best suits your needs. Whether it is a calm and relaxing game with no worries at all or adventures that may hinder progress, you have tons of possibilities.

NOTE: The menu will only display when the server is fully stopped; you will not be able to change it before then.

    10. Once you have selected the option, save the changes and start your server.
    11. Conclusion

Being able to determine the death penalty on your Palworld server allows you to shape the experience within it. This will enable you to choose whether you want to have a calm game or a more challenging one. It’s up to you to play on the edge, knowing that if you die, you will lose absolutely everything you are carrying. Now you are fully capable of selecting the difficulty within your server by clearly understanding what settings to change and where to find them. Decide the level of challenge you want to face and configure your own Palworld server.
