Dark and Light Item IDs & Summoning – Introduction

Inside a Dark and Light server, you’ll find yourself in a fantasy world where you collect resources, build items, and create village communities. In this vast RPG, you and your friends may find that some resources needed for crafting are hard to find or that you can’t seem to find a weapon you really want. When this happens, searching and grinding to find what you need can be frustrating. Thankfully, with Dark and Light item ids and the ability to summon items, this is no longer an issue.
 
Dark and Light features a console and commands to help change and modify options on your server. One of those commands is the ability to summon items using a Dark and Light item ID. From there, you can spawn in anything you can imagine from signs to buildings, items, weapons, and gear, all to ensure the ultimate adventure. Geared up and ready to go, you and your friends can take on anything. Discover how you can become an admin and use Dark and Light admin commands to spawn items on your own server!

Becoming a Dark and Light Admin for Commands

1. Head to your Dark and Light server webinterface.
2. Next, to the left under “Settings”, select “General”.
3. There, find the “Admin Password” and copy that password.
4. Then, join your Dark and Light game server.
5. Afterward, press the black bar at the bottom of your game to open the console.
6. Within the game console, type the command “enablecheats PASSWORD”.
7. You can now verify that admin works by entering an admin command like this:


8. You will now successfully be a Dark and Light admin and can now use commands including those to spawn in items from Dark and Light item ids.

How to Spawn Items with Dark and Light Item IDs

Once you’re a Dark and Light admin, spawning in items is simple. To do so, open the console again by pressing the black bar at the bottom of your game. Then, you’ll be able to use this command to summom specific items, tools, weapons, armor, and more:
 
cheat GiveItemNum [item number]
 
This is an example of giving yourself a Longhorn saddle:
cheat GiveItemNum 77
 
After entering the command, that item associated with that Dark and Light item ID will appear within your inventory, ready for use on your game server!
