ARK 2 Dinosaurs and Concepts – New Details

Leading the next adventures in ARK, ARK 2’s developers Studio Wildcard have announced more exciting information about the upcoming game and two future ARK 2 dinosaurs to meet. But before we cover that information, how did we get to ARK 2?

ARK is a tremendous game that was released in 2015 where players explored different worlds, meeting, fighting against, and working with dinosaurs and fellow survivors to thrive. During those adventures, players faced many challenges to learn the stories of the ARKs and of its visitors like biologist Helena Walker and chemist Edmund Rockwell. These challenges were enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of players across the world playing together on ARK server hosting and are still played to this day. After those many explorations, ARK is finally moving forward to ARK 2 and I know we’re excited about everything it has in store next!

Meet the New ARK 2 Dinosaurs

Stegosaurus – Noble Guardian

The Stegosaurus is a herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period on Earth around 150 million years ago. While slow-moving, Stegosaurus make up for this with the plates and spikes on their back and tail that it uses for protection. Coming into ARK 2 and with the developer given the title of “Noble Guardian”, we imagine the Stegosaurus will make for a mighty protector to players and their tribes!

Brachiosaurus – Aloof Behemoth

Brachiosaurus is a sauropod dinosaur that also lived during the late Jurassic period. This dinosaur is well known for its long neck and tall size, reaching up to 80 feet in length and weighing as much as 80 tons. Often gentle creatures, we expect that Brachiosaurus will simply roam the lands as wondrous ARK 2 dinosaurs, lending to the beauty of the lands we’ll be exploring!

A major detail from the latest ARK 2 news in the community crunch 345 was that more behind-the-curtain information is planned to be shared regularly. If these two dinosaurs were any indication, it looks like there will be plenty more ARK 2 dinosaurs and details to discover as ARK 2 leads up to the release of its first gameplay trailer.
