The Vietnam War just escalated.
S.O.G. Prairie Fire Update 1.1 brings a new, large terrain on which you can now play as the US Navy SEALs, utilizing new vehicles and weapons in action-packed new multiplayer game modes.
To celebrate the new release, S.O.G. Prairie Fire will be discounted by 20% on Steam until October 14th!
Welcome to Khe Sanh
The unique new terrain, covering 225 km², enables players to design and run missions around Quang Tri Province, including some crucially contested locations of the war, like the giant US Khe Sanh Combat Base.
Featuring 2.7 million trees, buildings, and objects, this large map is partly topographical and partly designed for gameplay. It features realistic scenery for Vietnam Warfighting in Arma 3 with towering hills and deep valleys surrounding the Khe Sanh Combat Base.

US Navy Seals
“The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday!” – so goes the motto of the US Navy SEALs.
Now you can play as one of the three primary SEAL groups that operated in Vietnam: The MACV-SOG Naval Advisory Detachment, the SEAL Teams, and the US Navy Underwater Demolitions Teams.
Vehicles
Fight your battles in style: This update brings us four new cars, one of them with an armed variant, and the M151 just got a late-war upgrade and can now carry the powerful BGM-71 TOW anti-tank missile launcher.
All vehicles have multiple textures, fire-from-vehicle capability, and a working music jukebox to further expand your enjoyment. These new additions will let you explore your gameplay options, especially in the urban areas of Vietnam.

Static Weapons
To ensure you get the most bang for your buck, there are four new static weapons to improve coastal and base defenses:
- PAVN has added the devastating V11M Twin 37mm cannon in an armored turret and the Type 56 75mm Recoilless Rifle.
- The US has added two awesome naval anti-aircraft weapons – the L/60 Mk3 40mm cannon and the L/70 Mk2 20mm cannon.
Expand you Arsenal
The 1.1 Update adds nine new weapons, with detailed animations, realistic sounds, and melee features.
Additional Multiplayer Scenarios
The very popular “Mike Force” co-op multiplayer game mode has been ported to the challenging new terrain of Khe Sanh. Created by the S.O.G. Prairie Fire team and therefore fully supported, playing it requires a Steam Workshop item.
There are also four new Zeus multiplayer scenarios for this new terrain. Inspired by popular tabletop games, this free DLC for Arma 3 enables you to assume the role of Zeus, a game master with the ability to curate the multiplayer experience of others.
