How to Dive into the Creator Arma 3 DLC 

To begin playing the Spearhead 1944 DLC, you’ll need to have it installed. To play Arma 3 with the new DLC, simply access the DLC section in the Arma 3 Launcher and ensure that you have the “Spearhead 1944” DLC installed. In addition, you’ll need to have the DLC installed on a game server by following our how to install Arma 3 mods guide. Then, join your Arma 3 server to begin the exciting action ahead!

• Animated briefings for each mission provide clear objectives and context.
• Plan strategies together, and explore different approaches for high replay value.
• Try out various roles: tank crews, engineers, flamethrower troopers, medics, and many more.

Single Player Adventure

Immerse yourself in a single-player adventure mode, where you’ll get acquainted with the stories and equipment of both German and American troops during Operation Cobra. Alternatively, you can join the French Resistance and embark on a solo mission or team up with up to 4 friends.

ARMA 3 Custom Game Modes

• Zeus – Create your own missions and play your way. Utilize pre-made cooperative scenarios for German and American troops. 
• Combat Patrol – the Spearhead version with faction selection, new objectives, customizable mission parameters, and automatic support for World War II mods. 
• Escape – the Spearhead version with faction selection, higher difficulty, and automatic support for World War II mods. 
• Warlords – the Spearhead version with faction selection, additional customization through mission parameters, and automatic support for World War II mods.

Gameplay Enhancements in the Creator DLC Spearhead 1944

• Custom Revive System: An enhanced version of Arma 3’s revive system with full AI support, including dragging unconscious allies, stabilizing bleeding, and various customization options. 
• Morale System: Simulates unit morale, leading AI to retreat, drop their weapons, or surrender. Take prisoners for valuable enemy troop and position information. 
• Indirect Fire Support: Allows players and AI to request various forms of support such as mortars, heavy artillery, and close air support via radio or directly from nearby tanks. 
• Realistic Vehicle Damage: Experience realistic bullet ricochets, armor penetration, and the detonation of ammunition racks with enhanced effects and destruction of individual vehicle components. 
• Enhanced Reload Animations: Infantry weapons feature multiple reload animations, depending on whether it’s a partial magazine or a full one. 
• Hip Fire System and Wall Avoidance: Experience the bulkiness of heavy or long weapons, such as machine guns, during close-quarter combat. Machine guns are typically held low at hip height but can be fired from the shoulder without support, affecting accuracy during sustained fire. Longer weapons will be lifted or lowered when encountering objects or walls. This encourages the use of compact weapons in close quarters and discourages excessive use of heavy, unbraced weapons. 
• Improved Soundscape: Immersive and realistic bullet sounds with ricochet effects and heavy impacts to elevate your gameplay experience. Activate the “Environment – War Sounds” module for an even more immersive battlefield experience. Listen to authentic Doppler-effect aircraft sounds taken from real recordings as they zoom overhead. 
• New Weapon Attachments: Bayonets and a variety of rifle grenades expand the players’ arsenal, providing new options for anti-tank warfare, illumination, camouflage, and transitioning between close and long-range combat. 
• Flamethrowers: The introduction of flamethrowers provides a unique and powerful tool to unleash devastating attacks and control the battlefield in various ways. 
• Tow and Push Anti-Tank Cannons: Players can tow anti-tank cannons with vehicles or manually push them to quickly and efficiently position them for battle.
