Conan Exiles: Legacy of the Giant-Kings Is Live

Legacy of the Giant-Kings is live on Conan Exiles Enhanced. The free four-part story arc dropped its first chapter on July 21, 2026, sending players deep beneath the Unnamed City into the Cyclopean Halls, one of the most dangerous places in the Exiled Lands. If you already own the game, it costs you nothing to start playing.

A New Four-Part Story Arc Begins

Funcom shipped Part One of Legacy of the Giant-Kings alongside Patch 2.0.0, and the whole arc is free for anyone running Conan Exiles Enhanced. The remaining three parts arrive one at a time over the coming months, so the story unfolds in stages rather than all at once. For server owners, that pacing is a gift: each chapter is a fresh reason for your players to log back in. Funcom set out the rollout in its launch announcement for Part One, the same post that introduced the Cyclopean Halls and the return of Legendary repair.

Descend Into the Cyclopean Halls

Part One takes players into the Cyclopean Halls, a dungeon buried far below the Unnamed City. An NPC named Akhamet presses you to recover the long-lost remains of the Giant-Kings, leading you through grim sacrificial chambers before the path opens onto a boss encounter. It is a self-contained chapter, so anyone jumping in on launch day gets the new area and its climax without waiting on the parts still to come. The chambers and the boss are built for a group to grind through together, which makes the first chapter a proper event rather than a quiet solo detour.

Legendary Repair Returns

Patch 2.0.0 also brings back Legendary repair, a feature the community has been asking after for a long time. It lets players repair powerful Legendary weapons and armor instead of retiring them once they wear down, keeping that gear useful well into the endgame. If you have been sitting on a favorite Legendary item waiting for exactly this fix, Part One is your reason to log back in. It rewards the players who stick with a server for the long haul, since hard-won gear stays relevant instead of forcing a fresh grind every time it degrades.

What Else Patch 2.0.0 Brings

The story arc did not land alone. Patch 2.0.0 raises the maximum number of save slots, adds FSR frame generation support for more GPUs, and introduces bindable UI actions so players can remap in-game commands to the keys they prefer. None of these are tied to the story itself, but they arrive in the same update, on the same day, as noted in Funcom’s original arc announcement.

Conan Exiles Enhanced is available on PC through Steam, and Funcom is running a 25 percent discount on the base game through July 27, 2026. That discount covers the base game only. Legacy of the Giant-Kings itself is free for anyone who owns the game, so new players who buy in during the discount window pick up the full story arc on top of it at no extra cost.

Explore the Giant-Kings’ Legacy on Your Own Server

A four-part story like this plays best with company. Descending into the Cyclopean Halls, clearing the sacrificial chambers, and taking down the boss all hit differently when your own server community works through them together, comparing notes on Akhamet’s clues and cracking the fight as a group instead of alone. Running the arc on a server you control also means it is there for every part, with your world and your players waiting when the next chapter goes live. If you want that dedicated space set up before Part Two arrives, Nitrado has servers built for Conan Exiles Enhanced and ready to go.
