WHAT’S INSIDE – FARMING SIMULATOR 22 PLATINUM EXPANSION

NEW MAP – SILVERRUN FOREST

In the expansion, a new map will be ready to explore for players. Silverrun Forest is a map based around logging, containing features surrounding this like construction projects. From beautiful plains, gentle creeks, and even a roller coaster! What will you do first in Silverrun Forest on your Farming Simulator 22 game server?

TREE LOGGING AND TRANSPORTATION

Before we cover the new vehicles, it’s important to know what they’ll do. The Farming Simulator 22 Platinum Expansion focuses on logging through new machines. This introduces winches, yarders, and new containers. Winches will assist players in pulling heavy logs using wire ropes. If the terrain is too rough, yarders can help make use of cables to carry wood over hilly or impassable terrain. Once you have collected wood, you can use containers to then store it or transport the wood!

NEW VEHICLES IN FARMING SIMULATOR PLATINUM EXPANSION

The Farming Simulator 22 Platinum Expansion includes twenty-one new vehicles from John Deere, Impex, Komatsu, Volvo, Koller, and many other brands. Here are sixteen of the vehicles you can look forward to when you add the Platinum Expansion to your game and Farming Simulator 22 server!

MANITOU M50-4 & VOLVO F16 GLOBETROTTER

Prepare your logging yard with the F16 Globetrotter and an M50-4 Forklift. The Forklift is great at moving wood onto your truck so that you can transport it efficiently. At € 102,500 for the Globetrotter and € 58,000 for the Forklift, you’ll be able to transport wood to work on the new construction projects.

PRODUCTION CHAINS & CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

New to Farming Simulator, players will be able to repair and expand the world around them through construction projects and their production chains. Below is an example of the roller coaster project coming in the new Silverrun Forest map!

Upon completing each production chain step, your construction project will advance. After completing all of the steps, that project will finish and you’ll be able to use it. Yes, that means you’ll be able to use projects like the roller coaster and sailing boat!

TREE MARKING SPRAYS & SIGNS

To go alongside the logging changes, tree markings, and signs are also being introduced to the Farming Simulator 22 Platinum Expansion. This includes six new markings, each with its own meaning.

Types of Tree Markings

• Logging trail – Using this marking indicates that you are on the logging trail that goes toward the actual logging location.
• Remove tree – Trees with this marking are to be removed.
• Support tree – A tree with this marking indicates that players should leave this tree and the ones around it alone. Or to plant new trees in the area.
• Saw off at this height – This marking is to show where the tree should be cut.
• Deadwood – You’ll see these markings during deadwood missions, where you’ll need to remove these trees.
• X – This marking can have various meanings, generally to remove trees. You can assign any meaning to this mark while playing with your friends.

HYDRAULIC BREAKER – PALADIN SFB 750

Rocks will no longer stop your farming efforts in Farming Simulator 22! The Farming Simulator 22 Platinum Expansion includes the SFB 750, a new hydraulic breaker that you can attach to skid-steer loaders like the New Holland L318 or C332.

Breaking rocks with the breaker, you’ll see pebbles drop. Making use of wheel loaders, you can shovel up the pebbles and sell them for some extra money on your Farming Simulator 22 game server!

IMPROVED PLANTING & HARVESTING FOR FARMING SIMULATOR 22 PLATINUM EXPANSION

• Sequoia (Sequoioideae) – Known as “redwoods”, these trees are the largest and tallest on planet Earth. They’re endangered and are a great choice for reforestation.

To help with reforestation and replenish the trees on your Farming Simulator server, you can use equipment like the Volvo EC250DL and Risutec SKB-240 to mass plant trees on your server. You can buy pallets of trees to fill the SKB-240 when you plant!

HOW TO ADD THE PLATINUM EXPANSION TO YOUR SERVER

With the Platinum Expansion out, you can now add that to your Farming Simulator 22 server! Once you own the Platinum Expansion, you’re ready to install that pack on your Farming Simulator 22 server for you and your friends to enjoy.

1. Head to your Farming Simulator 22 server panel.
2. Select “Admin-Web interface” to access your FS22 server settings.
   

3. Scroll down the page to the “Active Mods” section. Select “Platinum Expansion”, and then click “Activate”.
   

4. Go back to your server webinterface and restart your server to load that pack!
