Precision Farming DLC Contents

Soil Improvements

Some familiar features have made their way back into Farming Simulator with soil types, soil sampling, variable rate fertilization, and economic analysis.

Originally introduced in Farming Simulator 19 as part of the very first Precision Farming DLC that was released, these features have seen great improvements with this latest DLC release.

Soil Maps

Instead of the usual process of having to collect a soil sample yourself to determine the quality of the soil before you farm, this DLC introduces soil maps that can be purchased from service providers within the game.

Soil maps feature vital information on the soil type, pH levels, and content of nitrogen. This ensures you know what tools to bring, the crops to plant, and how to best tend for them as you farm the land!

Crop Sensors

Ensuring the best yields when you’re tending your farm, two new crop sensors have been introduced and can be attached to the front of your favorite tractors. When using these, you can measure the content of nitrogen in your crops while applying fertilizers, ensuring you apply the correct amount of fertilizer for the highest nitrogen score in your fields.

The two sensors, the ISARIA PRO Active and the ISARIA PRO Compact, sport a pulsing light source and allow for use during both the day and night.

Variable Rate Seeding, Spraying, and Weed Control

A huge improvement in reducing the cost and usage of seeds, herbicides, and manure, variable rate seeding/drilling, and variable rate weed control have been added.

Reducing usage by up to 90%, variable rates will ensure a smooth application rate based on the speed of the tractor you’re using, even when you’re moving fast through the fields!

John Deere Is Here

The newest sprayer technology is here with the John Deere R732i PowrSpray. A machine that is equipable to the back of tractors, you can utilize this machine to stop weeds in their tracks with herbicide.

Through the dealership in-game, you can also add the “Spot Spraying” configuration. With that, each nozzle of the machine will only activate and spray herbicide if they detect weeds below them ensuring the most optimized weed care on your farm.

How to Install the Precision Farming DLC on Your Server

We’ll show you how to take control of the wheel to get these exciting DLC tractors and features on your Farming Simulator server!

1. Go on your Farming Simulator 22 server panel.
2. Click “Admin-Web interface” to access your server settings.

3. Scroll down to the “Active Mods” section, select “Precision Farming”, and then click “Activate”.

4. Back on your control panel, restart your server to load that DLC!

It’s time to start up the tractors, jump in, and try out the new soil map features, crop sensors, and variable rates that will help take your crop farming to a whole new field!
