In your Minecraft 1.20.2 dedicated server, rather than the mob’s horizontal width being used to determine attack reach, a mob can now attack based on their bounding box extended in horizontal zones. • When a mob is completely above or below you, it can’t hit you.
• If you’re riding a horse, you’re protected from small mobs like baby zombies.
• On tall mobs like the camel, zombies will not be able to damage you.
• Ravagers will no longer be able to attack through several block-thick walls.
• Since enderman are tall, you’ll need to be at least 3 blocks above the ground now.
• In mob farms, this means mobs will be able to attack you if their hitbox is in head range.
