Airplanes

Take over the SCUM island in your own plane! Yes, you read it correctly, this SCUM update introduces planes.

This new type of vehicle not only works as a new way of transportation but also as a useful tool for scouting, chasing, and maneuvering on the island.

For the moment, there will be two airplanes, both of them biplanes and 2-seaters:

• The Red Kinglet Scout. The faster and more agile one.
• The Blue Kinglet Duster. This one consumes less fuel.

The airplanes only spawn at 2 locations. On the Zeljava airfield in the D4 sector and on the main airfield at the main B2 airport.

There are also 2 new airstrips on the island for you to make pitstops whenever you need some more fuel. One is located in the A4 sector and one in sector A0.

And because we all know that your flying skills increase when looking the part, a pilot hat and jacket have been added!

Of course, that’s not all! You can arm your airplane with 2 RPK machine guns on the nose of the plane or have a gunner on the front seat to shoot.

Go get a loaded rifle or two and start ruling the sky!

Parachutes

In case anything goes the wrong way, parachutes are ready for you to use now!

Parachutes in SCUM are not only useful for jumping from high places but also completely rework how respawns work.

As was the original vision for the game, from now on, on the first spawn, random or sector spawn, you will spawn high up in the air with a parachute on your back.

Outposts

The first NPCs have been implemented on the island as NPC traders.

You will find the NPC traders on the C2 island in the middle of the lake, and spread around the southern part of the map in sectors B4, Z3, and A0.

For now, there are 3 traders:

• The general goods.
• The armorer.
• The mechanic.

Each of them has a different stock of items to sell and will only buy certain things from the prisoner.

Also, every outpost has each of the traders but not the same economy or stock!
