Everyone on the internet has a story of where their name came to be. So what’s the story behind Razzortainment?

• I started my internet career as TheRazzorhead. A name I had taken as an Xbox account at that time. Somehow I got used to the name and kept it for all my other accounts – including YouTube. However, I switched to a newsroom years later and left my YT account behind. When the newsroom closed its doors after two years, I needed not only a new direction for my content but also a new name. But what do you make out of “Raz” (the short form of “TheRazzorhead” and “Entertainment”? Of course: RAZZORTAINMENT!

Nitrado is partnered with hundreds of Content Creators, Modders, and Developers. So how are you finding your partnership with Nitrado?

• Nitrado is personal. There’s no stiff “tweet how great we are” – “share our new post”. The motto at Nitrado is: “Be the person we like you for (and who we partnered with), and work with us. If you have an awesome idea, let’s tackle it together!” – it’s just the ideal way of collaboration. And more importantly, while many talk about having good servers, Nitrado has them. So don’t fall for cheap imitators.

Everyone has a favorite game or a game they’ll always come back to play. So what’s that game for you?

• Seriously? Minecraft. We all get past MC at some point and build our house out of the dirt. Then when we’ve binged our way through new triple-A titles, discovered every secret, and fully completed even the last DLC… then what? Exactly: Create a house made of dirt in Minecraft. I’m not good at it, but it would be THE game for me if I could only take one game to a desert island.

Inspiration is key in any venture. So what inspires you with content creation?

• I’m a megalomaniac – an “ideas guy”. Ever since I can remember, I’ve done nothing but have ideas. Some of them I even implement. The best ideas usually come to me in conversations with others. “You know what should be done…?” – Yes, and then I do it. So I keep my eyes open for problems and try to find creative solutions.

Twitch, Facebook, or YouTube? Which social media or streaming platform do you prefer? Why do you like this platform the best?

• How open am I allowed to talk? 😄 So YouTube I’ve run for years, and it’s a very thankless place (depending on the content of your channel). Facebook is simply a gathering forum for cringe memes and swap meets. On the other hand, Twitch is simply the best platform for me. At the time, I was warmly welcomed not only by the viewers but also by the staff. Of course, not everything is always rosy there, but I would always choose Twitch again.

Did you ever imagine being where you are right now when you started?

• No. Or did I? I mean, we all dream of something. I never dreamed of being “famous”, though. I just always wanted to entertain as many people as possible. It may sound strange, but I charge my batteries with the knowledge that I entertained many people today. It’s hard to explain. And should I ever build up the reach at some point, then I will try to use it for something good. That should be the premise of everyone famous.

What advice would you give to yourself in the past if you could go back in time?

• No advice. We’re only us because we’ve been through so much. Why would I want to save myself from that? Maybe I wouldn’t have such motivation today, or I would have taken an entirely different path. I wouldn’t give myself a tip. However, I would like to suggest that first, find yourself and live out who you are. Nobody will appreciate you for copying famous people or content. Be YOURSELF, because that’s what people will like you for.
